Our stunning Yule tapestry blanket artwork was designed by our very own Sarah Wildling to celebrate Yule (December 21st), a pagan Sabbat celebrated around the winter solstice, marking the rebirth of the sun and the gradual return of light after the longest night of the year. It is traditionally associated with themes of renewal, reflection, and hope, often observed with evergreen decorations, candles, feasting, and the burning of a Yule log. Many modern practitioners honor the season by celebrating warmth, family, and the cyclical nature of life as the wheel of the year turns toward brighter days.
These tapestries are ethically woven in the USA using 100% cotton threads. They measure 80″ by 60″ i.e. 200cm X 150cm and are such a whimsical way to spice up your home! We’re currently working on designing and producing a full series of Sabbat inspired blankets to align with the pagan Wheel of the Year! The next in the range is Imbolc!
