Lughnasadh Woven Blanket

This artwork was hand drawn by our in-house textiles designer Sarah Wildling to celebrate Lughnasadh (August 1st). It features flora and fauna that are symbolic of this time of the year. Lughnasadh is a pagan Sabbat that marks the beginning of the harvest season and reminds us to pause and give thanks for the abundance that the earth provides. Lughnasadh is celebrated with feasting, dancing, games, and gatherings to give thanks for the first harvest.

Our Sabbat tapestries are ethically woven in the USA using 100% cotton threads. They measure 80″ by 60″ i.e. 200cm X 150cm and make such great statement pieces for use as blankets or wall hangings.
