This artwork was hand drawn by our in-house textiles designer Sarah Wildling to celebrate Lughnasadh (September 22nd-23rd). It features flora and fauna that are symbolic of this time of the year. Mabon is a pagan Sabbat that marks the autumn equinox and reminds us to pause and give thanks for the abundance and balance that the earth provides. Mabon is celebrated with feasting, gathering, reflection, and giving thanks for the second and final annual harvest.
Our Sabbat tapestries are ethically woven in the USA using 100% cotton threads. They measure 80″ by 60″ i.e. 200cm X 150cm and make such great statement pieces for use as blankets or wall hangings. We have created a full series of 8 Sabbat inspired blankets that align with the pagan Wheel of the Year! Shop the full range here.
