Product Description

This artwork was hand drawn by our in-house pattern designer Sarah Wildling to celebrate Imbolc (February 1st). It features flora and fauna that are symbolic of this time of the year. Imbolc symbolises the first stirrings of Spring and the returning light after winter’s darkest months. Traditionally linked to purification and inspiration, it is often associated with the Celtic goddess Brigid and marked by candles, hearth rituals, and blessings for renewal and growth. Many modern practitioners observe Imbolc as a time of cleansing, intention-setting, and honoring the quiet awakening of the earth.

Our Sabbat tapestries are ethically woven in the USA using 100% cotton threads. They measure 80″ by 60″ i.e. 200cm X 150cm and make such great statement pieces for use as blankets or wall hangings. We have created a full series of 8 Sabbat inspired blankets that align with the pagan Wheel of the Year! Shop the full range here.
