This artwork was hand drawn by our very own Sarah Wildling to celebrate Beltane (May 1st), marking the height of spring and the fertility of the earth. Traditionally, it involves lighting bonfires, dancing around maypoles, and performing rituals to encourage growth, abundance, and protection. It is a joyful festival honoring the union of the God and Goddess, symbolizing life, vitality, and the blossoming of nature.
These tapestries are ethically woven in the USA using 100% cotton threads. They measure 80″ by 60″ i.e. 200cm X 150cm and make such great statement pieces for use as blankets or wall hangings. We’re currently working on designing and producing a full series of Sabbat inspired blankets to align with the pagan Wheel of the Year! Stay tuned for Litha, coming next…
