Product Description

Our Imbolc tapestry blanket artwork was hand drawn by our very own Sarah Wildling to celebrate Imbolc (February 1st), the third Sabbat of the Celtic year and first of the Lunar year. Imbolc symbolises the first stirrings of Spring and the returning light after winter’s darkest months. Traditionally linked to purification and inspiration, it is often associated with the Celtic goddess Brigid and marked by candles, hearth rituals, and blessings for renewal and growth. Many modern practitioners observe Imbolc as a time of cleansing, intention-setting, and honoring the quiet awakening of the earth.

These tapestries are ethically woven in the USA using 100% cotton threads. They measure 80″ by 60″ i.e. 200cm X 150cm and are such a fancy way to add pagan flare to your home! We’re currently working on designing and producing a full series of Sabbat inspired blankets to align with the pagan Wheel of the Year! The next in the range is Ostara.
