The Oasis print collaboration with the V&A is utterly fabulous!

Celia Birtwell’s recent collaboration with Valentino has paved the way for a promising trend of creative collaborations between textiles designers and fashion houses, which is a very exciting development – particularly for anyone completely obsessed with print!

A really stunning and surprising twinning comes from Oasis, who teamed up with the V&A to realise a divine capsule collection for SS16 showcasing botanical and feminine florals inspired by the V&A’s extensive print achieves, where prints have been re-worked, re-illustrated and re-coloured to create an exquisite new print range.

The collection includes, dresses, kimono’s, coordinating pieces and footwear, which are bound to sell out like hot cakes.

This footwear collection brings in a third collaborator, Gandys.

Gandy’s is the brainchild of 2 brothers, Rob and Paul, who lost their parents in the 2004 tsunami in Asia. They turned this grief into drive to raise money for the brands own charity Orphans for Orphans in a bid to help children less fortunate than themselves, and pledge to donate 10% of all their profits to the charity.

These pieces are all in the store now so snap em up before they’re gone!
